யூப்ரடீஸ் பாலங்கள் மீது யு.எஸ். விமானத் தாக்குதல்

பாக்தாத், செப். 7: சிரியா எல்லை அருகே யூப்ரடீஸ் நதியின் மீது அமைந்துள்ள இரு பாலங்களை அமெரிக்க ஜெட் போர் விமானங்கள் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை குண்டு வீசித் தாக்கின.

இந்தப் பாலங்கள் வழியாக பாக்தாத் மற்றும் இராக்கின் இதர முக்கிய நகரங்களுக்குள் வெளியிலிருந்து அல்-காய்தா பயங்கரவாதிகள் நுழைவதையும், வெடிபொருள்கள் கடத்தி வரப்படுவதையும் தடுப்பதற்காக இந்தத் தாக்குதல் நடத்தப்பட்டதாக அமெரிக்க ராணுவத் தலைமை தெரிவித்தது.

பாக்தாத் நகருக்கு 300 கி.மீ. மேற்கே இந்தப் பாலங்கள் உள்ளன.

மேடான்
இந்தோனீசியாவில் மேடான் நகரில் பயணி கள் விமானம் ஒன்று விழுந்து நொறுங்கி யதற்கு பயங்கரவாதம் காரணம் அல்ல என்று இந்தோனீசியா தெரி வித்துள்ளது. அந்த விமான விபத்தில் மொத்தம் 150 பேர் மரணம் அடைந்தனர்.


விமான விபத்தில் உயிர் பிழைத்த 14 பேரில் 18 மாதக் குழந்தையும் அடங்கும்.


மண்டேலா ஏர் லைன்ஸ் நிறுவனத் துக்குச் சொந்தமான போயிங் 737-200 விமானம் மேடான் நகரின் விமான நிலையத் திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட சிறிது நேரத்தில் கீழே விழுந்து நொறுங்கியது. அந்த விமானத்தில் பயணம் செய்த 117 பேரில் 103 பேர் விபத்தில் மரணம் அடைந்தனர்.


விமானம் குடி யிருப்புப் பகுதியில் விழுந்து நொறுங்கிய தால் குடியிருப்பாளர் கள் 47 பேர் அந்த விபத்தில் மரணம் அடைந்தனர்.


விபத்தில் மரணம் அடைந்தவர்களில் வடக்கு சுமத்ரா மாநில ஆளுநர் ரிஜால் நுìர் தினும் ஒருவர். அவரது இறுதிச் சடங்கில் கலந்து கொள்வதற்காக இந் தோனீசிய அதிபர் சுசிலோ பம்பாங் யுதயோனோ மேடான் நகருக்குச் சென்றுள் ளதாக இந்தோனீசியத் தகவல்கள் கூறின.


விபத்து நடந்த இடத் தையும் அதிபர் பார்வை யிடுவார் என்று மாநிலப் பேச்சாளர் கூறினார். விமான விபத்துக்கான காரணத் தைக் கண் டறிய 8 பேர் கொண்ட குழுவினர் புலன்விசாரணை செய்து வருகின்றனர்.


விமானம் விழுந்து நொறுங்கியதற்கு என்ன காரணமாக இருக்கலாம் என்பதை அறிய பல்வேறு தடயங்களைத் தேடுவதில் அவர்கள் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டுள் ளனர். அந்த விமானத் தின் கறுப்புப் பெட்டி கள், விமானப் பதிவுப் பெட்டிகள், விமானிகள் அறையில் இருந்த குரல் ஒலிப் பதிவு சாதனம் ஆகிய வற்றை கைப்பற்றி யிருப்பதாக அந்த விசாரணைக் குழுவின் உறுப்பினரான செதி யோ ரஹார்ஜோ கூறி னார்.


விபத்துக்கு இயந்திர கோளாறு காரணமா என்பதைக் கண்டறிய விமானத்தின் இயந்திரங் கள் ஜகார்த்தாவுக்கு அனுப்பப்படும் என்றும் விமானப் பதிவு பெட்டிகளும் குரல் ஒலிப்பதிவு நாடாவும் ஆய்வு செய்வதற்காக அமெரிக்கா, தைவான் அல்லது ஆஸ்திரேலி யாவுக்கு அனுப்பப்படும் என்றும் ரஹார்ஜோ கூறினார்.


விபத்துக்கு காரணம் எதுவாக இருக்கலாம் என்பது பற்றி புலன் விசாரணைக் குழுவினர் இன்னும் எதுவும் தெரிவிக்கவில்லை. இந்நிலையில் புலன் விசாரணை முடி வடைய இன்னும் பத்து நாட்கள் ஆகும் என்று ரஹார்ஜோ கூறியுள் ளார்.


விமான விபத்து பயங்கரவாதத் தாக்குதலாக இருக் கலாம் என்பதற்கு எந்த தடயங்களும் இல்லை மண்டேலா ஏர்லைன்ஸ் நிறுவனப் பேச்சாளர் டெட் எல்பிஸ்ரா தெரி வித்துள்ளார்.

Details: While en வழி, the crew reported engine trouble with both engines and planed to divert to Caracas. The plane began losing altitude and eventually crashed in the Sierra de Perija mountains on the Columbian-Venezuelan border. This is the 50th worst accident in aviation history. Investigators are looking at the possibility of fuel contamination as a cause. The plane had plenty of fuel before it crashed.

Details: While flying at FL340 towards Athens the crew reported problems with their air conditioning system. As the airliner entered Greek airspace ATC lost contact with the plane. Two Greek F-16 fighters were dispatched to intercept the plane. The F-16 pilots reported that one pilot was not in the cockpit and the other was slumped over the controls. They also said oxygen masks had deployed in the cabin. The plane continued on track until it crashed into mountainous terrain about 25 miles north of Athens. CVR tapes showed that a student pilot/flight attendant, Andreas Prodromos, was at the controls of the aircraft for 10 minutes and tried to send a Mayday message twice but the radio was set to the wrong frequency.

Details: The airliner disappeared from radar and crashed into dense jungle shortly after taking off from Malabala. A witness saw flames coming from the side of the plane shortly after take-off. The plane then tilted and fell, skidded over trees for a distance of about half a mile and crashed. The plane was overloaded. The aircraft was built to accommodate a maximum of 48 passengers.
